I just purchased a Jonsered 520sp chainsaw and will be receiving it next week. The pictures and the description of the saw are that it is in "like new" condition. That it starts great, idles and runs perfectly.There are also some other minor differences in the saw, from what I can see, such as the design of the vents on the side of the housing. If you want a true "100 cc" saw, the 2100 husqvarna is the saw, if you ar willing to round to the nearest 3 ccs, a nice 7 series mac will make you smile, but only under certain conditions. Don't tighten too much, but you have a lot more grip on the seal.

Anyways, its a Model 358.350810, 40cc saw. Can anyone tell me the idle and MAX rpms for this saw, so I can give it chance of running right. Max rpm number is the most important and I don't trust my ear or the saw - yup I've got the tach to do it. Help please. On a side note, I can't believe how cheaply (crappy) this saw is built.

Jan 27, 2012. #2. how could you not be happy with this. there are others that have modified it and so on but all in all i think most are happy with it. so far i think the chain stays sharp a little longer because it sharpens without leaveing any burs.
