After cleaning& lube, dry fire, and about 300 rds they settled in at 4.75 - 5.0 lbs - perfect for me for carry.The P365 is fully cocked when the slide is racked. The sear drops straight down into the chassis to release the striker. Pretty easy to see when your slide is off the gun. Glocks are partially cocked when racked.
