I already crunched AR and CT in no loss accuracy void with stream of random mooks to be 317.55 (AR+19) and 306.28 (CT+19) should I ignore the damage scale trait the BR is just a 232 (+19) I've also crunched the damage per max ammo (BR came out on top because it doesn't consider RPS with CT close behind. AR was actually worst in this category.)Beam Rifle does more damage if you hold the trigger, Assault Rifle does more damage in bursts. Given that more often than not you won't need to hold the trigger for long or you won't be able to since you had to dodge or reposition, I'd say that the Assault Rifle is the stronger choice. 8.
