1) Accuracy: SIG (by a narrow margin) The P226 is an extremely accurate shooter with tight groupings. The G17 is also very accurate, but I think the P226 wins this one by a narrow margin. The magazines are not all that common. A USPC would be better since it shares the same body as a P30/VP9 which are substantially more common. Have fun finding a holster. P226, it is obvious that Sig has moved on from the gun. It'll be the exact same problems as the USP. The 320 would be a better option for this debate.I traded for it, after another officer I worked with and I compared my Glock 17 and his P226 on the range and the Glock was more acccurate from a bench rest and had a consistent trigger pull, while the P226 was a little less accurate and had the DA/SA pull mostly loved only by slow shooters.
