The only time the power locks stop working properly is when the door handle is pulled partly and gets the lock pin in the door stuck between full up and full down ...A couple of ways to verify. Remove the abs fuses - see attached for location in engine compartment fuse box - and test drive. The abs light will be on as it is disabled, but if brakes no longer lock up, then you know it is the abs module and pump assembly. You can also test drive and when it locks up, disconnect the vacuum line at the booster.

This seems to occur while the truck is parked and off, and the only way I know is these symptoms after I return to the truck and start it: Volume is lowered all the way down (to zero) Tone settings (base/mid/treble) are completely lost (everything is zeroed out) Auto-Volume control is reset to none. If that's the case pull the front and rear sill covers off (they just snap out), then pull the B-pillar cover off from the bottom.
