Elvarg is weak to stab and rune sword is the fastest dps that has the most stab bonus. Most of the time you will be tanking her dragonfire attacks. Despite having "no weakness," magic is incredibly shit against Elvarg and melee will dominate more. I've seen people fail it on T40 magic gear and turn around and succeed at it in T20 melee gear. Part of this is because melee is better designed for shield usage at that level band than magic is, but overall it's just an unbalanced boss.
