Chassis Saver is a rust preventative, high build, single component chassis paint and underbody coating that permanently stops corrosion without the use of primers or topcoats. Chassis Saver can be applied directly over tight rust or sand blasted metal. Field tested and proven for over 10 years in heavy truck and commercial fleet refinish markets.Chassis Saver is similar to Por 15, except made by a different manufacturer. Is a supposedly a rust stopping and rust preventing paint that does not require sand blast to apply and is very tough. Said it can be sprayed or painted on with a brush.

Received 1 Like on 1 Post. I have used Chassis Saver, and as I remember you are to get all the scale off, and forget the rest of the rust, in fact that is what gives it its tooth. The parts I treated that way 3 years ago, still look new, mind you they still havent been installed, but they arent rusting out in my garage.Chassis Saver in particular states DO NOT use over Ospho or any other rust converter. It must be applied directly over rust to adhere properly./ I haven't used POR15 but it would probably be the same since they are very similar.
