F4se can't find fallout4.exe

That window should now have a plain folder with the same name as the 7z. Go inside that folder and you'll find a "data" folder and "src" folder and a handful of files. I recently downloaded f4se of of f4se.silverlock.com and got the zip archive, then extracted it to C drive-programfilesx86-steam-steamapps-common-fallout 4. I then tried to start fallout using the "f4seloader.exe but it did not work. A message popped up saying "Couldn't find Fallout.exe" even though it was in the Fallout 4 directory along with fallout4.exe.Go to the Start Menu. Tap Settings. Go to Updates And Security. Tap on Windows Security. Here, select Firewall And Network Protection. Next, tap on Allow An App Through Firewall option. Here, select Change Settings. Grant access to all Fallout 4 related applications through both Public And Private networks. Click OK.- In that folder, Find the Fallout4.exe thingy and drag it to your desktop. - Close all that crap and go back you your current FO4 directory that, again you can probably find here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common ... You should now be able to use the current vervion of F4SE again. Hopefully this helped and I havent screwed up ...

Hello, I've encountered a bug in Mod Organizer where even if I have F4SE as the selected exe to run, Mod Organizer runs the default fallout 4 exe, the one with the configurator.This just started today, and it has worked fine before.Eventually, I found a post on here that helped with the issue, where I put the contents of the MCM zip folder directly into my 'Fallout 4\Data' directory and it worked. The catch is, it only works if I launch f4se_loader.exe manually (double clicking it from File Explorer).
